Margaret Jane Butler

Margaret Jane Butler, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Iredell County.
Jane was born on January 8, 1937, to the late Othoa Andrew Knight and Hazel Daphne Thompson Knight.
Including her parents, Jane is preceded in death by, her husband, Clyde Oscar Butler, brothers, Russell Knight, and Sonny Knight, two sisters, Carolyn Kelly, and Evelyn Knight.
Those left to cherish the memory of Jane, include, three daughters, Janet Lampley (Tom), Sandy Huggins (Larry), Deborah Horne (Archie), and one son, Billy Sewell (Melissa).
One sister, Margaret Newman and one sister-in-law, Dee Knight.
Seven grand kids, Aaron Lampley (Lori), Candi Harrington (Chap), LeAnn Crew (Eric), Kristy Horne, Lisa Mahala (Noah), Hope Sewell, Tommy Barrett (Jackie), Charleston Roberts (DJ) and
sixteen great grandchildren.
Special cousin Tommy (Connie) Thompson and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
Brother Tom Lampley will be officiating.
