Margaret Little Morgan, age 73, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 at Valley Nursing Center. She was born in Alexander County on March 29, 1937 to parents Charlie Ross Little and Pansy McAlpin Little. She was an active member of East Taylorsville Baptist Church, where she was involved in the Women of Mission, CARE, Co-ed 6 Sunday School Class, and the Sr. Citizen Group. She was a retired Loom Operator from Snyder Mills. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Morgan Sr., sister, Linda Smith Starnes, and brothers Gary and Donnie Little. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, her children: Pam Morgan Williams and husband Allen; Forrest Morgan, Jr. all of Taylorsville, and Loretta Morgan Wells and husband, Frank of Kinston. Two sisters, Martha Halyburton and husband John, and Rosa Rhyne all of Taylorsville; one brother, Wayne Little and wife Kathy, all of Taylorsville. One half brother, Glade Little of St. Albans, West Virginia. Grandchildren include Tammy Shaffer of Vale, Brian Williams of Taylorsville, and Freddy Morgan Street of Connelly Springs. Also 7 great grandchildren: Adam & Victoria Hefner of Vale, Caleb & McKayla Williams of Taylorsville, & Ashley, Jacob, & Lucas Street of Connelly Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as the special loving staff from Valley Nursing Center. Visitation will be held at East Taylorsville Baptist Church on Friday, Sept. 24th from 6:00 * 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be at the church on Saturday, Sept. 25th at 11:00 AM; with the body lying in state 30 minutes prior. The Revs. Jamie Steele and Mark Marshall will officiate. Burial to follow in Liledoun Cemetery following the service. Terry Little, Steve Lackey, Joe Rhyne, Jesse Fox, Donnie Goforth, & David Davis will serve as pallbearers. .
