Margery Edna Lowe Hubbard, age 89, beloved by many, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Westwood Hills in Wilkes County. She was born on Saturday, December 22, 1934, in Alexander County to her parents, the late Roosevelt and Blanche Deal Lowe. During her career, Margery dedicated her time as a supervisor for Carolina Glove. Her passion for nurturing knew no bounds; she had a special fondness for children, especially her grandchildren. Margery found solace in gardening and held her faith close at Little River Baptist Church where she was a member and worked the nursery for over 30 years.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of 46 years, Edd Hubbard, brothers, JC and Wayne Lowe, sisters, Wanda Lowe, Mabel St. Clair, Joyce St. Clair, and Rowena Hubbard.
In the hearts of those who survive her are her son Gary Hubbard (Mary), granddaughter Leah Hubbard, and great-grandsons Tybee, Maverick, and Beau Martin.
Margery's life will be honored at a visitation service on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Little River Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow in the Little River Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Rev. Laura Auton and Rev. Susan Ewing will officiate. Kyle St. Clair, Dustin St. Clair, Lucas St. Clair, Jason Payne, and Matthew Danna will serve as pallbearers.

Margery Edna Lowe Hubbard will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
