Martha Little Halyburton

Martha Little Halyburton, age 80, of Taylorsville passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born on June 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Charlie and Pansy McAlpine Little. Martha was a member at East Taylorsville Baptist Church and loved to take care of children. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and working in her yard, especially in the flower beds. Martha had an OCD for cleaning, she liked for everything to be kept up neat and tidy. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years John Gilbert Halyburton; brother Gary Little; and sisters Rosie Rhyne, Linda Smith, and Margaret Morgan.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Sonya Pearson & husband Rick; brother Wayne Little; grandchildren Tiffany Moore & husband Clay, and Landon & Tanner Pearson; and two great-grandchildren Beckett and Cohen Moore.

A graveside service for Martha will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Taylorsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Watson officiating. Memorials may be sent to PACE Homecare at 1915 Fairgrove Church Rd, SE; Newton, NC 28658.
