Mary Ramsey Gilreath,

Mary Ann Ramsey Gilreath, age 76, of Statesville passed away in Wake Forest Medical Center (Winston-Salem)   Monday morning September 10, 2012.  Born May 1, 1936 to the late Clyde and Ruth (Mayse) Ramsey in Rutherford County, she was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Hiddenite. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 27 years , Grady Lynn Gilreath of the home.  One daughter Kathy Butler of Forest City, NC, and one step-daughter Jane Gilreath Johnson and husband, Charles. Two  stepsons Dennis Gilreath and wife Amantha; and David Gilreath.  Grandchildren include:  Allison Brown, Dara Gilreath, Ashley Lineberry, Chad Gilreath, Daniel Gilreath, and Dylan Gilreath, as well as 4 great grandchildren.  Four sisters:  Marie Smith of Rutherfordton, NC; Betty Richards and husband Frank of Inman, SC; Helen Turner and husband of Caroleen, NC; Lola Morrow and husband Tommy of Bostic, NC.  Five brothers:  Bobby Ramsey and wife, Helen; Junior Ramsey and wife Susan; and Wayne Ramsey and wife Carol, all of Bostic, NC; James Ramsey and wife Shirley; and Jerry Ramsey and wife Cheryl all of Spindale, NC.
The family will receive friends at Fairview Baptist Church on Thursday, September 13 from 1:00 - 1:45pm with the funeral service to begin at 2:00pm.  Rev. James Ruel Fox will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Gilreath, Charles Johnson, Chad Gilreath, Brandon Brown, Brian Lineberry, and Brad Gilreath.
