Mary Claudine Bunton

Mary Claudine Bunton, age 73, formerly of Hiddenite, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, November 20, 2016, in Brian Center Nursing, in Brevard, NC. Born to the late Claude Franklin and Mary Lee Pool Buntun on Jan. 8, 1943, she was an retired office assistant. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmie Gilbert Bunton and Claude Atwell Bunton. Mary is survived by two sisters, Colleen Campbell of Hiddenite and Ruth McLarty and husband, of Atlanta, Ga and brother, Carl Bunton of Taylorsville.

A Private family gathering and service is planned, with burial following in the Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Lambert will officiate.
