Mary Query Turner, age 85 of Taylorsville passed away at Frye Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Mary was born on Wednesday, November 6, 1929 to the late John Wilson and Emma Smith Query. She was a homemaker and loved flowers especially her rose bushes. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by a daughter Cindy Turner Simmons, son Michael Turner, a son in-law Dan Auton, and four brothers Charles, William, Millard, and Rayford.
She leaves to carry on her legacy two daughters Patty Forrester, Deborah Auton, three grandchildren Sonya Hines, Kevin Simmons and fiancé Whitney Friday, Michelle Feliz, four great grandchildren Sydney & Josie Hines, Tristan & Kaden Feliz, and host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Service from 2:30-4:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Gary Jennings officiating. Burial will take place in the Taylorsville City Cemetery.
