Maurice Feuer, age 90, of Taylorsville, passed away in Valley Nursing Ctr. on Friday evening, Feb. 25, 2011. Born in New York, New York, on Feb. 18, 1921, to the late Isaac and Molly Palter Feuer, he was a retired teacher from the New York City Board of Education. A science teacher, he also assumed responsibility for home instruction for students in their home when unable to attend school normally. He was a veteran of the US Army, WW II. He was of the Jewish faith. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and quick wit. In addition to his parents he was preceded by one son Kenneth Feuer and ten siblings. He is survived by one son David Feuer and wife Vionette of Taylorsville, as well as one brother, Henry Feuer,, of Hartford Conn. and two sisters: Ester Cribbs, of Miami, Fla. and Rhea Fleicher of Brooklyn, New York. No formal services are planned at this time and inurnment will be with the family. Alexnder Funeral andCremation Service is serving the Feuer family.
