Megan Leann Page, age 35, born on Tuesday, September 20, 1988, in Catawba County, passed away peacefully at her home in Alexander County on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Megan had a heart full of love and kindness that resonated with everyone she encountered. She worked in cleaning services at Abernathy Laurels in Newton, where her hardworking nature and gentle disposition left a lasting impression and attended Startown Baptist Church.
Megan was a nurturing soul who adored her family, particularly her son, Floyd Thomas Page III. Her enduring love for him was always evident and remained a guiding light throughout her life. In addition to her son, Megan held dear friendships with those around her including David Ham, who was a special friend, as well as Rebecca Lackey, a close family friend. Her relationships extended to her special niece, Shelley Bolick, her cousin, Carol Herman, and special friend, Ashley, each of whom brought joy and laughter into her life.
Not only was Megan known for her warm personality, but her interests also reflected her vibrant spirit. She had a fondness for Stitch, Betty Boop, and butterflies, capturing the whimsical side of her character that brought happiness to those around her. Described as having a tender heart, Megan was always ready to lend a hand, offering support and love to anyone in need.
Megan is preceded in death by her parents, James Graylin Watson and Myra Wilkinson Watson.
A visitation to honor Megan will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm, followed by a memorial service in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm. Rev. Allen Fox will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

Megan Leann Page will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity. May her memory continue to inspire kindness and love in the hearts of those who knew her.
