Michael Alvin Pritchard,

Michael Alvin Pritchard, age 61, of the Ellendale Community, passed away unexpectedly at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was born in Norfolk County, VA on December 18, 1952 to Dorothy Simmons Pritchard and the late Frank Alvin Pritchard. Michael was a truck driver for CommScope and a member of Christian Fellowship Church in the Wittenburg communty.  He and his wife Teresa did everything together and he treasured those times, he also loved spending time along with his family, his church family, and his work family.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by one sister: Mary Pritchard.

Those remaining to cherish his memories are his wife of 22 years, Teresa Shatley Pritchard.  Two daughters:  Yvette Huffman and husband Kelly; and Tonia Maltba and husband, Tim.  Three grandsons:  Jamie Woods, Michael Matheson, and Randy Matheson.  Mother:  Dorothy S. Pritchard.  One sister:  Doris Cline and one brother:  Jim Pritchard.  He also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, May 24, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Christian Fellowship Church.  A Memorial Service for Mr. Pritchard will follow in the Church beginning at 2:00 pm.  Rev. Scott Greene, and Dr. James Lockee will officiate.
