Molly Virginia Adams James, age 78, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday morning, November 1st, 2010. She was born in Jackson County, NC on May 15th, 1932 to parents Filmore Adams and Bessie Hooper Adams. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church and worked as a thrower in textiles at Schneider Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ned James; and 2 brothers: Rufus and Jim Adams. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Dennis James & wife Sheila; and one grandson, Cody James – all of Taylorsville. She also leaves behind her sister: Lib Stamey, and 3 brothers: Denton, and Rubin Adams of Waynesville, and Sam Adams of Walhalla, SC. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at Calvary Chapel from 1:30 – 3:00 P.M. The funeral service will follow after the visitation. Burial will follow in Little River Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Danny Loudermilk will officiate. Cody James, Darrell Bentley, Michael Jones, Sgt. Jeff Sharpe, Lt. Douglas Bowman, and Patrolmen Brandon Hamby will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be sent to Hospice & Home Care of Alexander County @ 50 Lucy Echerd Lane, Taylorsville, 28681.
