Mrs. Marshall Dagenhart,

Mrs. Arcola Marshall Dagenhart, age 83, of Conover went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 16 where she was reunited with her husband who she loved dearly. Mrs. Dagenhart was born on September 9, 1930 in Alexander County to the late G. Cleveland Marshall and Margaret Gwaltney Marshall. In addition to her parents and several brothers and sisters, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Hayes C. Dagenhart. Mrs. Dagenhart was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandson: Canon, numerous friends, and her pets: Molly and Snowball. She is survived by her daughter: Vickie Dagenhart of Conover: sister and best friend: Wilma Bentley of Taylorsville; grandson: Robbie Patterson of Jacksonville, FL; grandson: Ryan Patterson and wife Cheryl of Claremont; and great-grandson: Canon Hayes of Claremont.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Conover on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm  with the funeral following immediately after at 3:00 pm with Pastor Paul Birner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
