Nancy Barber,

Nancy Diane Barber, age 64 of Taylorsville passed away in Valley Nursing Center on Sunday, December 7, 2014.  She was born in Caldwell County on September 19, 1950 to the late Monroe William and Lillian Lucille Craig Crane.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and family get-togethers.  She was an avid Rook player as well other card games, and liked to work crossword puzzles.
Besides her parents those who have preceded her in death are a daughter Amanda Flynn; two brothers: Odell Crane and Bill Crane; and one sister, Sheila Crane.
Those remaining to cherish her memories are two sons:  Johnny Lee Barber and Brandon Beard.  Two daughters: Nancy Gail Hefner Byers and Amy Diane Elder; one brother, Lloyd Crane and one sister, Linda Sweet; and a sister-in-law, Janie Barber.  She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.
There are no formal services planned for Mrs. Barber.
