Nancy Lee Loux Steskal

Nancy sadly passed away suddenly at her home on June 22, 2024. She was born August 29, 1947, in Sellersville, PA. Nancy was a dedicated wife of 37 years to her husband David Henry Steskal. They resided in Granite Falls, NC. Nancy and Dave resided in Quakertown, PA before moving to NC.

Throughout her life she held many jobs ranging from office work for a lumber company to waitressing at restaurants, but what gave her the most joy was babysitting. Through the years the kids she cared for still call her Nana into their adulthood. In her pastime she enjoyed watching the birds on the many feeders she placed around her house.

Nancy is survived by her children; son Walter Scott Hippauf and wife Vicki, son Richard Kurt Hippauf, stepson Randy David Steskal and wife Barbara, along with grandchildren Steven Hippauf, Jeffrey Hippauf, Michael Steskal and wife Amanda, Amanda Steskal Davis and husband Thomas, Jacob Foltz, Lucas Foltz and Rebecca Foltz. Nancy also has her beloved sisters and brothers; Carol Chantelau and husband David, Linda Zarzecki and husband Felix, Peggy Esenwein Williams and husband John, Molly Esenwein Ardinger and husband Charles, widow of Howard, Jacque Hennessy Loux, Janet Herzog and husband Robert and Kenneth Loux and wife Donnalee Skillton Loux, stepsister Lynn Fox Harper, stepbrother Steven Fox and wife Barbara, stepbrother Michael Fox and wife Penny. Nancy also had a host of nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father Howard Pearson Loux Jr., her mother Betty Jane Floyd Loux Fox, stepfather Charles Edger Fox, brother Howard Pearson Loux III, stepson Ricky Ronald Steskal and stepdaughter Sherry Ann Steskal Rash Foltz Hamilton. Along with both sets of grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
