Nettie Faye Loudermelk,

Nettie Faye Loudermelk, age 84, formerly of Taylorsville, passed away at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley on Sunday, April 22, 2012.  Nettie was born May 11, 1927 to the late James Baxter Baucom and Sally Helms Baucom.  She had attended Beulah Baptist Church and Maiden Church of God and was a wonderful and exceptional mother and grandmother.  She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Ned H. Loudermelk; and one son, Steve H. Loudermelk; as well as two brothers and six sisters.  Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Ruth Kennedy and husband David, of Maiden; two sisters: Betty Mae McDonald, of Stanley, NC and Alice Bailles of Callabash, NC.  Four grandchildren: Audra and Josh Kennedy, of Huntington Beach, CA; and Michaela and Will Loudermelk, as well as a daughter-in-law, Karen Loudermelk, all of Taylorsville, NC.  A step-grandson, Michael Kennedy, of Hildebran.  And John Lynn Mitchell who was like a son to her.  Visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Service on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.  Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with the burial to follow in the Taylorsville City Cemetery.  Rev.
