Nora Price Paige,

Nora Ellen Price Paige, age 80, of Bethlehem, passed away at Frye Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, October 30. She was born on April 29, 1932 to the late George William Price and Emma Louise Lovins Price Dishman. Nora was a Teacher at Country Care Daycare for five years and worked in the furniture business earlier in her career. She attended Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed genealogy, reading, gardening and embroidery. Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Atwell Keith Paige; her daughter - Carol Ann Paige; three brothers - Henry Lee Price, John P. Price and Benny Price; three sisters - Barbara Price Melton Morgan, Wilma Bentley and Dolly Scurlock and her step-father - Adam Alford Dishman. Those left to cherish her memory include her children - Kenneth Atwell Paige and wife Diane, Kathy P. Cummings and husband Grey, Linda Paige Rector and husband Michael, Conley Iverson Paige and wife Joann and Lori Paige Smith and husband David; two sisters - Nancy Davis and Audrey Haas and husband Reggie; four brothers - Gary Price, Dennis Price, Bruce Price and Maynard Price and wife Tonya; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a numerous number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church and a Graveside Service will follow at 4:00 pm in the church cemetery. Rev. Mark Morris will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Alexander County DAV - Chapter 84 at 611 Mountain Creek Lane, Taylorsville, NC  28681 or to Harry's Hands c/o Antioch Baptist Church at 580 Antioch Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
