Ollie Mae Barnes St.Clair, age 99, of Taylorsville, passed away at Gordon Hospice House on Monday, December 3, 2012. She was born on September 1, 1913 to the late Smith and Susan "Dolly" Idella Watts Barnes. Before Ollie retired and became a homemaker she was a manager at Bare's Department Store. She was an avid quilter and loved her family. Mrs. St.Clair was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church and was also a member of the choir. Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lee David St. Clair; four brothers - Otto Barnes, Jack Barnes, Roscoe "Ham" Barnes and George "Mouse" Barnes and two sisters - Lottie Watts and Jettie Daniels. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons - Doris "Ed" Edward St.Clair, of Stony Point and Dewey Lee St.Clair, of Taylorsville; one daughter, Carol Dean Sherrill, formerly of Taylorsville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Three Forks Baptist Church with Rev. Carson Mosley officiating.
