Patty Mae McGraw,

Patty Mae McGraw, age 70, of Newton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born March 16, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clyde Murdock and Millie Murdock Bunch. Patty was a retired hairdresser and loved to play bingo and go bowling. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-brother: Tommy Bunch. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Sherri Thompson and husband Robert of Taylorsville, Michelle Self of Newton and Amber Bolick and husband James of Taylorsville; granddaughter: Whitney Herman of Newton; grandson: Johnathan Self of Hickory; great grandchildren: Taylor McKinney, Jacob Bolick, Damien Bolick and Michael Bolick of Taylorsville and Alanna Herman, Braiden Herman and Parker Herman of Newton. There are no formal services planned at this time.
