Peggy Rose Martin

Peggy Williams Martin, age 74 of Stony Point died September 2 at Iredell Health System following a lengthy illness. She was born September 5, 1944 to the late John Herndon Williams and Bertie Whitmire Williams. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Clarence Williams, Alfred Williams and Frank Williams. Three sisters Marguerite Curtis, Namie Suddreth and Betty Setzer.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Don Martin, two daughters Donna (Lonnie) Louie of Stony Point, Debbie (Randy) Williams of Statesville. Special niece Pam (Philip) Clark of Morganton. Four grandchildren Brandon (Brittany) Louie, Kristen Louie of Stony Point, Randi Williams and Katherine Williams of Statesville. Two great-grandchildren Addi and Sophi of Stony Point.
The family would like to thank Iredell Health System’s physicians, nurses and all other staff for the care, compassion, prayers, and love shown during her time of sickness.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday September 4, 2019 at the Redeemer’s House Church in Stony Point. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm with the memorial service following at 6:00 pm.
