Perry "Doug" Livingston

Perry "Doug" Livingston, age 69, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2016. He was born on March 5, 1947 in Caldwell County to the late Perry and Ruby Livingston. Doug was a member at Antioch Baptist Church and a member of the Alexander County Crime Stoppers. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Killian Livingston.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Thad Livingston and wife Kim, Julie Anderson and husband David, Andy Buckner, and Alicia Cline; grandchildren: Katie, Emily, and Jay Livingston; Jonathan, Logan, and Jesse Anderson; Luke and Aaron Buckner; and Miranda Cline; and two great-grandchildren: Camden and Samantha.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm with Funeral Service following at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Mark Morrison will be officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory with full military rites. Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Logan, and Jesse Anderson; Jay Livingston; Andy, Luke, and Aaron Buckner; and Scott Hollar.
