Randy Dean Patterson,

Randy Dean Patterson, age 53, of Nebo, NC - formerly of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at McDowell Hospital. Born October 13, 1959 to James Patterson and Joyce Davidson Pierce, both of Taylorsville. Randy was a member of East Taylorsville Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching DVD's especially, The Waltons and collecting newspaper, and magazine clippings. He is preceded in death by his grandparents - Clarence & Dora Davidson and Otto & Mary Patterson and nephew - Joshua Patterson. Including his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his sister - Jacqueline "Jackie" Patterson; brother - Tim Patterson and wife Karen; nephew - Tyler Patterson, all of Taylorsville and step nephew - Brandon Echerd, of Catawba.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Alexander Funeral Service and Service will begin at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Jennings, Rev. Jamie Steele and Rev. Arlie Roten officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
