Rickey Hall Wiles,

Rickey Hall Wiles, age 59, of Taylorville, passed away peacefully after an extended illness at his residence on Friday, September 25, 2015. He was the son of the late Samuel Hall and Juanita M. Smith Wiles born on June 13, 1956 in Alexander County. He was of the Baptist faith. More than anything Rickey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews who were like his children. Rickey was loved and well respected and will be greatly missed. He loved working outside, farming and riding his tractor.
In addition to his parents Rickey was preceded in death by a brother Robert Lee Wiles Sr. and a nephew Sammy Lee Kiser.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters; Shirley Kiser and husband Sammy, Connie Stillwell, & Martha Norton and husband Howard, one sister in-law Pam Wiles, five nieces & nephews; Garland Ramsey, Jeffery Kiser, Hope Norton Johnson, Robert Wiles Jr., and Michele Norton Hardin, seven great nieces & nephews; Caleb Buff, Gracie Norton, William Wiles, Noah Johnson, Paige Kiser, Lucas Hardin, and Samilyn "Booboo" who he shared a very special bond with.
A private funeral service was 2:00 pm in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, September 28, 2015. The body will lay in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The Rev. Gary W. Jennings will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylorsville City Cemetery.
