Robert Lee Brawley age 81 of Harmony passed away on Wednesday morning July 7, 2021, at Gordon’s Hospice in Statesville. Robert was born on Thursday, October 12, 1939, in Allegheny County to the late Ronald and Attie Bedsaul Brawley. On August 1, 1965, Robert married the love of his life, Paulette Miller, and have been inseparable ever since.
Robert Brawley had many hats and wore them all well. He has always been one to look at life and see what beauty he could make out of it. From a barber to a house builder, to a dairy farmer, his life has made a difference not only for himself but also for his family and friends. He always helps the other person to do more and be more than that individual had ever thought of and help that person achieve their dream. An entrepreneur with much success but still the same person he always was, a husband, an uncle, a friend, a hard worker, a thinker, but most of all he remained- Robert.
Robert was a member of Sharon Lutheran Church, he enjoyed restoring old cars, working, piddling, and cruising with old friends.
Those left to cherish and celebrate the memories of Robert along with his wife of fifty-seven years, his brother, Ronnie Brawley and wife Pamela, a number of nieces and nephews, (whom he adored), a long-time friend Tommy Brown of Lewisville, NC. and his “Best Buddy” Jake Hanes of Lexington, NC.
