Robert Wayne Stroebel

Robert Wayne Stroebel, age 57, born on Saturday, January 13, 1968, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Amorem in Caldwell County. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who cherished his family deeply.

Robert is survived by his wife of 12 years Michelle Stroebel, his two loving children, Corbyn and Cadie Stroebel. His legacy will live on through their memories of him. He is also survived by his brother, Victor Stroebel, and his nieces and nephews: Abigail Stroebel, Hannah Ellis (Tyler), Mason Lea, Mark Ambrose, Jaxon Ambrose, AJ Ambrose, Gracie Hicks, and Wesley Hicks; father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Mary Ellis, and his sister-in-law, Dawn Hicks (Aaron).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mabel Call Stroebel, and father-in-law, Michael Harrold.

Robert led a life rich with passion and interests. He enjoyed working with computers and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who reveled in riding his Harley. Additionally, he had a flair for creativity that manifested through blacksmith work and his musical talents. A true jack of all trades, Robert was always ready to lend a hand or share his knowledge with others.

A memorial service to honor Robert will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Service in Taylorsville, North Carolina at 3:00 pm to celebrate his life. Josh Clark will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.
