Rodney "Tokyo" Dean Bowman, age 56, of Taylorsville, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Mr. Bowman was the son of the late Escar Sylvanus and Elsie Marie Whisenant Bowman. He was born on November 5, 1959 in Alexander County.
In addition to his parents Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by brothers; Dennis & Tony Bowman.
He is survived by four sisters; Juanita Jarman, Jackie Teague, Tracy Painter, Patricia Holsclaw, two half sisters; Martha Kaye Torrence, Debbie Miller, sister in law Sandy Bowman, and a host of nieces, nephews, and serveral God children.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, December 21, 2015 at Calvary Chapel with the visitation following the service. The Rev. Danny Loudermilk will be officiating the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Rodney Bowman memorial fund in care of Alexander Funeral Service; Po Box 40; Taylorsville, NC 28681
