On April 18, 2021 Roger A. StClair left this earthly world to join his Savior. He spent four decades at Sipe Lumber Company. Fellow coworkers and customers alike came to truly respect his hard work and dedication. He was well known and respected by everyone he met.
Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy A. StClair, his father, Howard F. StClair, a daughter, Melissa StClair, and infant great-granddaughter, Freya Ann Guthrie.
Those left to cherish the memories of Mr. StClair include his wife of fifty-one years, Sheila Smith StClair of the home, his mother, Joyce St.Clair, three daughter, Vivian Carver and husband Wayne of Hiddenite, Misty Kiss of Taylorsville, Tracy Estes and husband Van of Hickory, honorary daughter, Elizabeth Danley. Roger is also survived by two brother, Randy StClair and wife Melinda, and Hal StClair, one sister, Pamela StClair, all of the Sugar Loaf area. Roger also had sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to all the EMTs, EMS, and all the workers who provided assistance, also a big thankyou and honorable mention to grandson Sage Estes, nephew, Lucas StClair, and niece, Shaquiah (Shay) Barnes for all their support and comfort during this tragic time.
Visitation for the StClair family will be conducted on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm. at Alexander Funeral Service. No funeral services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be with the family.
