Ruth Hollar Norris,

Ruth Arlene Hollar Norris, age 55, of Taylorsville, passed away Wednesday evening December 9, 2015. Ruth was the daughter of the late Grady Lee and Ellen Mae White Hollar. She was born on Monday, March 28, 1960 in Caldwell County. She had a loving nature toward everyone she came in contact with, always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Richard Norris, two daughters; Amber Mae Bowlin & Jeremy of North Wilkesboro, Jennifer Lutz & Daniel of Bethlehem, five sons; Gregory & Cara, Wesley & Samantha  both of Taylorsville, Christopher Johnson of Hudson, Joshua Hall of Granite Falls, Robbie Minton of Wilkesboro, one step son Ricky Fondacaro of New York, and eight grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel, with the visitation immediately following. Pastor Elaine Clontz will be officiating. The family requests that in addition to flowers that memorials be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 6000 Fairview Rd #305, Charlotte, NC 28210
