Ryan "Bubba" Christopher Williams, age 33, born on Thursday, October 25, 1990, in Iredell County, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in Alexander County, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and unwavering dedication to his loved ones and community.
Bubba was a devoted extruder operator for Borealis Compounds, showing immense commitment and expertise in his role. Prior to this, he proudly served as a firefighter with the Vashti Fire Department, demonstrating his courage and willingness to help others. Bubba’s professional life mirrored his personal beliefs; he was known for being kind and welcoming, and he thrived on spending quality time surrounded by family and friends.
His hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and love for nature. Bubba found joy in hunting and fishing and cherished moments spent farming. His affinity for animals was evident in his strong bond with his horses, Storm and Onyx. Bubba also appreciated the beauty of the great outdoors and often reveled in vacations to the beach and mountains.
Bubba's generous personality endeared him to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a devoted friend, always willing to lend a hand and uplift those around him. His warmth and compassion created lasting memories that will stay with his loved ones forever.
Bubba leaves behind his loving family, including his father, Ron Williams; his mother, Kim Bumgarner (Eric); his brother, Randall Williams (Kim); and his sisters, Roxy Harrington (Shane), Alyssa Bumgarner, Tayler Randolph (Evan), Everleigh Reign Williams, and Elizabeth Ruth Williams. He also leaves behind his special friend and brother, Adam Potts (Hannah), along with his special friends Colby Herman, Kevin Mitchell, and many other special friends. Bubba is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ron Williams Sr. and Janice Depoy, and his maternal grandparents, Rev. Clyde and Gail Bumgarner. Additionally, he cherished his nieces and nephews: Cheyenne, Briar, Esau, Lane, Lacy, Lathan, Eaden, Emmalyn (Little Chucky), Brinleigh, Lawson, Callie, Brooklynn, and Elijah, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bubba was preceded in death by his child, "Little Bean," and his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Donna Fink, as well as his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Betty Thomas.
A funeral service honoring Bubba will be held at H & H Arena, 533 Ned Herman Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681 on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with visitation preceding the service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Hiddenite Cemetery. Rev. Taylor Miller and Rev. Eddie Jolly will officiate. Adam Potts, Briar Williams, Lane Tevepaugh, Jimmy Portillo, Kevin Mitchell, and Colby Herman will serve as pallbearers. The family ask that you dress casually in western wear.
