Sarah V. Bowman

Sarah V. Bowman's funeral will be Monday, July 28, 2014, at Friendship Lutheran Church, in Taylorsville, NC where she and her late husband, Tollie L. Bowman, were active lifetime members.  They were involved in all areas of the work of the church, from leaders of the youth groups, teaching Sunday school classes of all ages and/ or helping with cleaning or building projects. They faithfully attended all services until declining health prevented their regular attendance.

Not only did Mrs. Bowman go to church and work in the church, she lived her Christian faith daily and witnessed to all she met where she worked and lived. She was a kind, genuine, thoughtful lady; and a devoted, loving Christian mother.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at Friendship Lutheran Church, prior to the funeral service which will begin at 5:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the church cemetery following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Friendship Lutheran Church @ 5300 Church Road,  Taylorsville, NC 28681.
