Sarah Alice Moose Wood

Sarah Alice Moose Wood, age 68, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Sherrills Ford Hospice House in Catawba County. She was born on Tuesday, November 8, 1955, in Catawba County to the late Paul Augustus Moose and Margaret Lucille Rader Moose. During her working career, Alice worked as an upholsterer, and she enjoyed her job. She also enjoyed drag racing cars and trucks. Alice loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

Those left to cherish the memories of Alice include her husband of 17 years, Otis Wood, son, Brad Moose, daughter, Michelle Gant (Chad), grandchildren, Bradley Moose, Logan Moose, Nathaniel Moose, Ashlee Heavner, Drew Ford; two sisters, Frances Moose and Diane Goodson (Kermit), and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will be with the family.

The family will accept flowers.
