"Scottie" Scott Bumgarner,

Douglas Scott Bumgarner “Scottie”, age 52 of the Ellendale community passed away unexpectedly in FryeRegionalMedicalCenteron Thursday, August 11, 2011.  The son of William Harvey “Bill” and Hilda B. Bumgarner, he was an upholsterer in the furniture industry for many years.  Scottie loved his dog and the great outdoors.  Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father Bill Bumgarner of California; his mother Hilda Bumgarner of the home.  Two Sisters Melissa Mitchell “Tia” and husband Benny and Nancy Presnell “Billie” and husband Lee.  One brother Jason Bumgarner - each of Taylorsville.  Four nephews: Garrett Hefner, Matthew Bumgarner, and Justin, and Jordan Mitchell.  One niece; Kayla Hefner.  The love of his life:  Savonda Bumgarner and a dear friend Sandra Houck.  Those preceding in death are one brother Gene Bumgarner as well as an infant brother.  There are no formal memorial services planned for Scottie, however, the family will be receiving friends at Scottie’s mothers’ home.  Arrangements entrusted to Alexander Funeral & Cremation Service.
