Sharon Rose Horski McKee

Sharon Rose Horski McKee, age 82, of Bethlehem passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Carolina Caring in Catawba County. She was born to the late Edward L. Horski and Esther Skinner Horski on Friday, August 22, 1941, in Shiawassee, Michigan. Mrs. McKee had a bachelor’s degree. She taught in public and private schools in Michigan, Texas, Illinois, and Colorado. Sharon was also a teacher and children’s director at churches in Colorado. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was very involved in ministry with children at Child Evangelism Fellowship, AWANA, and teaching classes at churches.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Nancy Horski.

Those left to cherish the memories of Sharon include her husband of 38 years, Rusty McKee; sister, Becky Wretlind (Norm); two nieces, Miriam Cotton and Mindi Green.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow in the Taylorsville City Cemetery. Rev. Dean Chambers will officiate.
