Shirley Ann Warren,

Shirley Ann Bentley Warren, age 65, of Taylorsville went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014 following a period of declining health. She was born on August 26, 1948 in Catawba County, the daughter of the late Junior William Bentley and Minnie Irene (Hubbard) Bentley. Mrs. Warren retired from Rock-Tenn in Taylorsville, better known as the Box Factory after 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Northside Baptist Church. She also loved spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Larry David Warren, sister: Lisa Gay Bentley and brother: Frankie Lane Bentley. She is survived by one daughter: Crystal Denise Warren Bentley and husband Todd; granddaughters: Dixie Nichole Bentley and Amy Michelle Bentley; grandson: David Smith Bentley; sisters: Carol Deal and husband Floyd, Gail Herman and husband George and Dana Crabtree; brothers: Floyde Mack Bentley and Jerry Lynn Bentley and wife Debbie, all of Taylorsville; special family friend: Kathy McKamey; along with a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm-3:30 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. Service will be conducted at 4:00 pm in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel by Rev. Mitchell Rash. Memorials may be made to her grandchildren's college fund in care of Crystal Bentley 868 Bethel Church Rd.; Taylorsville, NC 28681.
