Shirley June Sigmon

Shirley June Sigmon, age 80, of Taylorsville went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at home on Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born to the late Charles Allen Roberts Sr. and Pansy Hatton Roberts.
Shirley enjoyed cooking, sewing, planting flowers and being at home with her beloved family. She was a faithful member at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by, one son: Russell "Rusty" Glenn Sigmon and her sister: Jean Roberts Kirby.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years; Glenn Lee Sigmon. Sons; Michael Lee Sigmon, Scott Allen Sigmon and wife Michelle. One daughter; Kandy Sigmon Alexander and husband Todd. Her brothers; Charles Allen Roberts "Bud" and wife Willa Dean, and Tony Roberts. Three grandchildren; Hillary Anne Sigmon, Anna Elizabeth Sigmon McDaniel and husband Matthew, and Joshua Michael Sigmon. With a number of nieces and nephews, along with one very special friend; Terry Katherine Marion.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. With the funeral service following at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Allen Roberts. A graveside service will be held after the funeral service at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
