Sibil Deal Mull, 84, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Catawba Regional Hospice in Sherrills Ford, NC. She was born, July 28, 1932 in Alexander County, to the late Dexter Davidson and Lucy Mae Bowman Deal. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. Sibil retired as a secretary after a long history of service at Irene Mills, Lewittes and Alexvale Furniture Companies in Taylorsville. After retirement, she worked part-time at Fortner Lumber Company in Hiddenite.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George A. Deal; and infant triplet grandchildren; Carol, Michelle, and Gregory Mull.
She is survived by her husband of 67years, Glenn Lewis Mull of the home; one son, Garry Lloyd Mull and wife Cheryl of Bethlehem; a daughter, Sharon Mull Goble of Conover; three loving grandchildren, Monica Jack and husband Jason, Jason Mull and wife Ashleigh, all of Taylorsville; Kevin Mull and wife Melissa of Bethlehem; six adored great-grandchildren; Hunter and Cody Jack, Emily and Lila Mull, Max and Mya Mull; two sisters, Johnsie D. Lackey and Ruth Deal-Lackey and husband Phil of Taylorsville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Craig Sigmon, officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylorsville City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to: Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Rd. Newton, NC 28658 or Reformation Lutheran Hall, 443 W Main Ave. Taylorsville, NC 28681.
