Stephanie Anne Felkel Johnson

Stephanie Anne Felkel Johnson, age 76, born April 28, 1948, in Wilkes County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at Woltz Hospice House in Surry County.

Stephanie worked several years in the retail industry. Her hobbies included floral design and crafting. She was affectionately known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Stephanie is survived by her daughters, Deborah E. Hunt (Kevin) and Tammy W. Harris, her sons, Chad D. Strohecker (Callie) and Jason L. Stephens (Nancy), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Saint Elmo and Jewel G. Felkel, her daughters, Melissa M. Van Cooney and Kathryn W. Southern, two granddaughters, several sisters and brothers. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
