Susan Leigh Donahue,

Susan Leigh Donahue, age 57, of Hiddenite passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Palliative Care and Hospice of Catawba County. Born on June 12, 1954 to the late Clifton Paul and Alverda Charles in Clearfield Co. Pa. she was a registered nurse with Bayada Nursing. She was of the Lutheran Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dale Donahue. One son Casey Lee Donahue and one brother, Jim Charles.  She is survived by one son, Kelly Brain Donahue, Graterford, Pa. One daughter in law, Heather Donahue of Taylorsville. Six grandchildren, Devin, Bryce, Brianna, Patrick, Hercules and Samson Donahue. One brother, Tim Charles, two sisters, Bonnie Edwards and Betty Bowman all of Pa. She has a number of nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Lebanon Baptist Church, from 11-12 noon on Monday, March 12, 2012 with funeral services at 12 noon.    Burial will be in the Dillard Family Cemetery.  Alexander Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
