Tabatha Lesona Rudisill Elder, age 50, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 21, 2016. She was born July 29, 1966 in Mecklenburg County to Barbara Cole of SC and the late Johnny Rudisill. Tabatha worked for Mitchell Gold and was a Tennessee Titans, NHRA drag car racing and a die-hard Carolina Tarheels fan. Tabatha loved being outdoors, especially swimming and sun tanning. She attended East Taylorsville and Millersville Baptist Church. Including her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 15 years: Kevin Elder of the home; daughter: Jessie Cook of Fayetteville; son Anthony Cook and wife Kristine of Sanford and grandchild: Taylynn Cook. Her brother Johnny Rudisill of Texas; sister: Johnya Hawkins and husband Keith of Kentucky; aunts: Jane West of SC and Cathy Rudisill and husband Dean of NC; uncles: Dean and Dennis Rudisill of NC; Nephew: Brian Hawkins and kids - Michael and Robert; niece: Tony McCain and kids - Maddyson, Nicole, TJ, and Johna; and long time friend of the family: Brenda Price.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at East Taylorsville Baptist Church and Memorial Service will follow. Rev. Jamie Steele, Rev. Bill Orren, and Rev. Gary Jennings will be officiating.
