Teresa Gail Hoke

Teresa Gail Mitchell Hoke, age 61, of Hiddenite left this world for her heavenly home on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She entered into this world on December 10, 1956, the daughter of the late Dewey & Edith Webster Mitchell. During her career she worked for over 20 years as a sewer for Craftmaster Furniture. Teresa was a member at Rocky Face Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family & friends. Being so proud of her grandsons, she was always on the sidelines cheering them on. She was such an amazing mother, granny, sister, and friend to many and will greatly be missed, but will forever be in our hearts.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Justin Hoke & wife Crystal of Stony Point and Tanya Hoke of Taylorsville; grandchildren Graham & Nolan Hoke of Stony Point; sister Sheila Lackey & husband Jerry of Hiddenite; brother Randy Mitchell & wife Shelby of Hiddenite; special cousin Rachel Hager; four dearly beloved nieces & nephews; along with a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Rocky Face Baptist Church with the Rev. Ryan Hodges and Rev. Mark Dula officiating. Burial will follow at Hiddenite Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Mitchell, Grant Mitchell, Lee Herman, Jimmy Kerley, Jason Harris, Shane Galliher, Danny Baker, & Ryan Baker.
