Terry James Buchanan

Terry James Buchanan, age 63 of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on, Saturday, April 11, 2020. He was born to the late James Walter and Doris Marie Frye Buchanan on June 25, 1956 in Catawba County. He was a 1974 graduate of Alexander Central High School. Terry worked at Meredith Berta company in Graphic Art Design for many years. After this he shared his culinary abilities at Crossroads Grill in Taylorsville and lastly at Hickory Café in Hickory. He was a man of many talents. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandparents, uncles, aunts, and two cousins Sonya Rector & Jacob Frye.

Those left to cherish his memory include aunts Linda Frye Rector (Larry); Lou Ann Frye, wife of deceased uncle Harold Frye, and Rita Frye, wife of deceased uncle Leon Frye. Cousins Rickie Gantt (Sandra), Mark Gantt (Sheila), Julia Rhyne (Dennis), Eric Frye (Dana), Dion Hines, Terry Frye, and many other relatives.

Terry was loved by family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or foundation of one’s choice.
