Terry Ambrose Childers

Terry Ambrose Childers, age 78, of Hiddenite, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Terry was the son of the late Ambrose Claude and Ruth Sawyer Childers. He was born on May 17, 1938 in Alexander County. He enjoyed fishing, racing, and water skiing. In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Melodie Annette Childers.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Sherry Childers Eller; two sons, Terry Chris Childers & Alan Spencer Childers; mother of his children, Brenda Childers; three grandchildren, Charles I. Jr., Peter, & Ingrid Eller.
A graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 12:00 pm. The Rev. Gary W. Jennings and Rev. Jamie Steele will be officiating.
