Thomas Junior Howell

Thomas “Tom” Junior Howell, Age 57, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Thomas was born on Tuesday, September 8, 1964, to the late Rev. Thomas Leon Howell and Margaret Parsons Howell in Alexander County.
Tom worked for the town of Taylorsville.
Tom attended St. John Baptist Church, where he loved singing in the male choir.
His greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Howell, and Patricia Ann Howell.
Those left to celebrate and remember the life of Tom, include his four sisters, Diane Smith (Leavy), Mamie Littlejohn, Laura Jane Parsons, and Mary Ann Howell, three brothers, James Howell, Greg Howell, and Brian Howell. Special sister-in-law, Melony Mason and special cousins like brothers, Terry McFarland, Ronnie Parsons, and other close friends and family, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service.
Graveside services will be held at St. John Baptist Church on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 am.
Officiating Rev. T. E. Martin
Pallbearers will be the male choir from St. John Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alexander Funeral Service.
