Tommy Dale Johnson,

Tommy Dale Johnson, 54 of Taylorsville, passed away at Frye Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. He was born April, 26,1960 to the late Fred Wilson Johnson and Betty Lou Herman Johnson.  Tommy was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church in Taylorsville, and was a paramedic for over twenty five years.  He also sat on the Board of Directors for the Ellendale Fire Department.  In addition to working as a paramedic, he also was on the Rescue Squad.  Tommy was hard working and dedicated to the community and those in need.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Robert and Anna Herman, and paternal grandparents; Mestie and Bessie Johnson. He is survived by mother; Betty Lou Herman Johnson of Taylorsville, sons; Brandon Lee and wife Kasey of Taylorsville, and Adam Dale Johnson also of Taylorsville; and one granddaughter; Laney Johnson of Taylorsville. A visitation for Tommy will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Service from 5:00pm til 7:00pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Three Forks Baptist Church in Taylorsville, at 3:00pm, with Pastor Carson Mosley, Pastor Gary Jennings, and Pastor Bill Orren officiating.  Burial will follow at Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery.
