Tyler Russell Teague,

Tyler Russell Teague, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 26th, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  Tyler was born on July 6th, 1984 to the late Russell (Rusty) Maynard Teague III and Teresa P. McNeely.  He was a 2002 graduate of Alexander Central High School where he played football.  He was a member of Little River Baptist Church.  He used to play West Jr. High football.  Tyler was a lifelong NC State Wolfpack fan.  He enjoyed 4-wheeling and playing golf.  All of Tyler’s friends and family loved him and knew him for his big, big heart and blue, blue eyes.  Tyler was employed as an electrician with Jack Bigeness in Wilmington. In addition to his father, Tyler was preceded in death by his sister, Kisha Lenay White; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth (Tootsie) Reid Teague; and maternal grandfather, Donald Ned Pennell Sr.  Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Myra Fincannon; paternal grandfather, “Paw” Russell Maynard Teague Jr.; mother and stepfather, Teresa and Bill McNeely; sister, Lindsay McNeely; stepbrother, Kyle McNeely and wife Ashley; and nephew, Luke McNeely.  Also, his maternal grandmother, Lillian H. Pennell; several uncles and aunts – including Melissa Davidson and husband Lee, Scott Teague and wife Gina, MaryBeth Woods and husband Jeff, Debbie Harrington and husband Terry, Kim Pennell, and Donny Pennell and wife Wendy; in addition to his cousins, Courtney and Laura Davidson, Mason and Abram Teague, Corey and Makayla Woods, Tracy, Nathan, Abby, and Bailee Harrington, Janie and Carter Pennell, and Alec and Alston Robinson. Visitation will be held on Friday evening March 30, 2012, from 5-8:00 pm. at Alexander Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held on Sat. March 31. 2012 at Oxford Memorial Baptist Church at 1:00pm the Rev. Neal Walker and Rev. Jeff Chapman will officiate. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Oxford Memorial Baptist Church, 2889 Old NC 90, Taylorsville, NC, 28681 or Little River Baptist Church,2070 Little River Church Rd. Taylorsville, NC 28681 in Tyler’s memory.
