Wanda Dianne Reese

Wanda “Dianne” Reese age 62, passed away after a long illness Wednesday January 26, 2022 in Catawba County. She was born to the late Kenneth and Shirley Holbrook Lackey on July 7, 1959. Dianne was of the Christian faith and enjoyed talking with people about her faith. During her free time, she enjoyed communicating with people on facebook, where she was known as the “smiling angel” and helped people overcome any problems they may have had. Overall, she was a homemaker that enjoyed taking care of her family.

Along with her parents Mrs. Reese is preceded in death by a son Donny Shane Anderson, two sisters: Teresa Lackey Ledford and Evelyn Lackey.

Those left to cherish the memories of Dianne include her husband of 38 years James “Runt” Reese, a son David Wayne Anderson, daughter Julie Marie Anderson, along with a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The family will conduct a celebration of life at a later date.
