Willard "Keith" Elder, age 56, of Hiddenite, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Keith was born to the late William Walter and Peggy Anne Crouch Elder who survives on March 14, 1960 in Alexander County. He was employed with the NCDOT in Alexander County.
In addition to his mother, Keith leaves to cherish his memory his wife and the love of his life for 32 years, Michalle "Shelly" Elder. He is also survived by siblings: Ricky Elder & wife Sonya, Debra Pennell & fiancé Mike Daniels, and Lisa Millsaps & husband Keith; father and mother-in-law, Lander and Polly Heafner; a number of nieces & nephews; friend Jimmy Cook and family as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to: Karen's Kids, c/o Alexander County DSS, 604 7th street SW, Taylorsville, NC 28681
