William George Daniels,

William George Daniels, age 68 passed away in Wake Forest University Medical Center Saturday, March 10.  Born to the late James Clarence and Paralee Daniels, he had retired from Mid-Atlantic Wood Products as well as being a lifelong tobacco and beef cattle farmer, and a member of Salem Lutheran Church.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Jimmy Daniels and one sister Carolyn Jeanette Daniels. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 35 years, Wanda Meredith Daniels; two daughters - Jeanette K. Daniels, and Mandy Daniels Norton, and husband Timmy.  He also leaves behind two grandchildren whom he dearly loved – Evie Annette and Ollie Rae; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The Daniels family will be receiving friends at Alexander Funeral Service on Wednesday,    March 14 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 15, 3:00 pm at Salem Lutheran Church.  Rev. Ray Ohlendorf will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
