William “Bruce” Harding age 72 of Taylorsville pass away on Tuesday afternoon at Trinity Village in Hickory. Bruce was born June 22, 1948 to the late Max and Natalie Harding in Joliet Illinois. He was a self-employed carpenter by trade, he enjoyed guns and was trained in Aikido and Judo. Bruce was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his wife of eighteen years, Gloria Black Harding.
Those left to cherish the memories of Mr. Harding include one son, Jimmy Wayne Harding and wife Catherine of Arkansas, daughter, Shannon Campbell and husband Steven of Taylorsville, sister, Sandy Franklin, seven grandchildren, Jimmy Harding, Jr., Jessica Petre, Codie Tucker, Cennedie Key, Ethan Campbell, Gabriellen Campbell, and Noah Campbell, eleven great-grandchildren, and a best friend, Gail Kolischak.
A graveside service for Mr. Harding will be conducted on April 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, Nc. 28144.
The family request that donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital @ 501 St Jude PL, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
